Attorney E. Carl Touchstone has been licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia since 1995.  He began his career at a medium sized general-practice firm in Atlanta, Georgia.  His primary focus was on family law and personal injury cases.  In addition, he handled all of the civil litigation appeals for the firm.

In 1999, Attorney Touchstone joined another law firm in Atlanta, Georgia that specialized in criminal defense work.  Attorney Touchstone’s primary focus was on misdemeanor and felony criminal cases throughout the State of Georgia.

In 2001, Attorney Touchstone was named City Solicitor for a metro area city court.  He remained in this capacity until January, 2010.  The position was part-time, which allowed Attorney Touchstone to continue his work in private practice.  Also in 2001, Attorney Touchstone opened his own office, now known as the Law Office of E. Carl Touchstone, P.C., which focuses on criminal defense, family law and personal injury cases.  He is currently admitted to practice law in the Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia  

Attorney Touchstone is originally from the metropolitan Atlanta area.  He attended college at Howard University School of Business in Washington, D.C. and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.  He furthered his studies by attending Howard University School of Law and received his Juris Doctorate.
